All funds raised for Total Warrior 2017 will be donated to Riverside School.
Our close relationship with the school Phil loved continues. We recently donated some play equipment to the school, and are currently having some picnic benches built, hopefully delivered soon!
DONATION TO DISABILITY SPORTS HUMBER
In late July, a few of Phil's Warriors met up with the lovely Steph from Disability Sports Humber to hand over a cheque for £250. It was a pleasure to be able to donate to such an amazing charity.
Disability Sports Humber is the biggest disability sports charity in the Humber area supporting 100’s of disabled people weekly in sport.
So often they see how much sport changes people lives from improving their mental health to giving some time to rest for carers.

Pictured above is one of our events. Phil's nieces, Abi and Emily held a Craft Stall at The Fair Maid in Cottingham.
Phil’s Warriors is a charity which was set up in the memory of Philip James Smith. Phil was a teaching assistant at a special needs school, and was about to begin his teacher training to develop his skills in this area.
Phil was a keen fund-raiser for charities, and took part in many sporting challenges: including a sky dive and long distance bike ride.
Phil's Warriors raises money to support children with special needs, and other disadvantaged young people, through the promotion of healthy lifestyles and sporting activities.
The Charity's trustees meet once a month to discuss and organise future fundraising events.
